The Lieurance Woodwind Quintet is a new ensemble. All five members of the group are faculty artists at the Wichita State University School of Music and also members of the Wichita Symphony Orchestra. Our CD is the first for this ensemble and it features works for woodwind quintet by American composers. These works challenge the members of the ensemble in different ways, and they perform them flawlessly. This is a quintet that everyone should give a listen to.
